Outdoor Programs
Pioneer Adventure Program
($1,600 up to 15 participants)
6 week program (age 5-14)
Outdoor Survival Classes that teach basic skills needed to survive in the outdoors which include building shelters and fires, food gathering/preparation, and a pioneer camping adventure.
Backpacking Adventure Program
($2,300 up to 15 participants)
6 week program (age 14-18)
This program is a more intense program designed to challenge and develop each participants mind and body. The classes prepare the participants for a two day, one night extended hiking adventure through the back country trails of some Georgia's well known national state parks.
Leaders in Training Program (LIT)
($3,500 up to 10 participants)
18 week program (age 15-18)
This program is designed to teach teenagers and young adults leadership skills by preparing the participants for employment oppurtunities for summer camp councelors, lifeguarding positions, as well as other year-round youth programs and organizations. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive professional certifications (American Red Cross) in Lifeguarding, CPR for the professional rescuer, and First Aid.
Team Building Adventure Program
($500 up to 15 participants)
(age 15+)
This is a one day program featuring a host of ground games, team initiatives, and some low element rope challenges that develop problem solving skills and increase critical thinking skills, self-confidence and community trust.

Guided Group Camping Adventure
Wilderness camping involves sleeping in tents, cooking over campfires, learning to build shelters, and culturally enriching games and activities. Mosiah's Roots offers several a la carte adventures that can be customized for you needs. Our Guided Group Camping Services provide a guide with expert planning for camping trips especially designed to meet the needs of your group.
Day Hikes
($40.00 per person)
An extended walk through the wilderness carrying items needed for the day. No overnight camping.
Pioneer Camping Adventure
($80.00 including equipment,
$65.00 without)
A good place to start for beginners. The wilderness experience with some of the conveniences of modern technology. Driving to campsite with equipment packed in the car.
Backpacking Adventure
($145.00 per person)

Canoe Camping Adventure
($175.00 per person)
A very leisure way of travel by boat down a lake or slow moving river to a campsite. The canoe carries both gear and campers.
